I do that too. One guy I told that it had just been fixed by someone else but the Visa wouldn't go thru but he was nice enough to take the money out of our savings account. I could hear him gagging. He thought I was actually that stupid.
I asked him if I could call him back. He gave me the number 1-800-690-3683. Said the company name was People Connect USA. Tried to keep me on the phone and convince me to do something but I apologized, said good-bye and hung up.
5 calls today from this number. I answered 2. One guy I had no patience with. Just called him names and to do something to himself that is physically impossible. The 2nd guy I strung along for a while then told him I was just joshing with him and that I don't own a computer. He HUING UP on me. The jerk.

Kept the caller going for about 15 minutes before he realized that I was playing with him and wasting his time. He too went ballistic...cursing and ranting. The last thing he heard from me was my laughter.
Claims to be from Microsoft and wants to speak to me. Hung up immediately. If Microsoft was calling me ,would have caller id. Just says cell phone.
I got a call supposedly raising money for local fire-fighters--it was the same number as the "Microsoft" affiliated guys. Sigh.
I'm registered in "Do not call list". However it's not working. Fake caller like this one keep calling again and again. I don't understand why those calling centers not closed if they are bothering a lot of people

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
