Called from Selden, stated he was calling about a problem with microsoft on my computer. I'm very used to these calls now and I know it's bs.. so I told him that this call was bs and a scam and never to call me again.. he said 'ma'am...' and then hung up lol. Not today!!!!!
AARP magazine has an article on this very thing. Do not answer your phone. They are putting a trace on it somehow when you do and no one speaks to you.....too bad these smart people can't find real jobs but illegal money probably $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Definitely Microsoft scam. So sad folks will be taken in for big bucks.
I got the same call on my cell, unbelievable that someone would me about my home PC. Did my home PC know to give them my cell phone. These people are pathetic. say the number is our contact and call it Scammer....
I never answer calls I don't know. Blocked them but these creeps keep trying to call. (don't get through). They sure are stupid!
Received in middle of day, "caller ID" just said "Cell Phone NY", I said 'hello' and caller didn't say anything, it was just dead silence, but line was still open. After listening to the noise about 10 seconds I said hello again, still no response, so I hung up.
Calls started after a Microsoft warning showed up on my computer. Caller states it is a warning from Microsoft. Call come in frequently, using a few different cell phone numbers. Calls come in at all hours of the day. Very Annoying!!!

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
