So,I think I'm an average intelligent person. So WHY didn't it occur to me to google this Jane Synovec before sending this scam artist over $300 to secure 325 West 58th Street in NY. I just sent an e-mail confirming our arrival and guess what...the e-mail account "has been disabled." Lovely. But when it comes back around, it'll be GOOD. Watch out Jane Synovec and company in Barre, VT cuz we gots ourselves lots of friends in law enforcement......you'll get yours!!!

Same here. I've been dealing with a "Neusa Hawhorne" -- a fake name that they left the "t" out and should be Hawthorne. Anyway, I get these broken English letters, vague responses to my specific inquiries about a vacation rental on Bleecker Street in NYC. I e-mailed a year ago but we cancelled our trip, so when I inquired again a month ago I got the exact same "personal" letter -- the exact wording, same spelling mistakes. scam Scam SCAM.
