adding myself to the long list of ppl scammed by janina richardson, cynthia moore, jeff gibbson, wayne kelvin. as soon as they mentioned wiring money I told them I was no longer interested. glad someone else caught onto them too.

Thankfully I was about to give over the western union transfer money number to NICHOLARS SMITH but got to this website first. Thank GOD I didn't transfer any money, his apartment was too much of a deal @ $45 a night. Don't trust this guy. He also seems very professional and trusting too, talking very intelligently and answering any questions. DO NOT GET AN APARTMENT with this guy on craigslist!!

its 3619 miller road, Los Lunas, NM 87031-8872. i know someone who was a victim of this scammer and he lives in New Mexico, he recently has gone by Cynthia Justin. He pretends to be an unsuspecting female and uses his own identity to cash the checks.

A word to the wise: Never NEVER wire funds via Western Union or MoneyGram as payment for anything advertised on Craigslist (or eleswhere online, for that matter). On every page Craigslist includes the following warning: "Avoid scams and fraud by dealing locally! Beware any arrangement involving Western Union, Moneygram, wire transfer, or a landlord/owner who is out of the country or cannot meet you in person." The apartment deposit scam is very common. Anyone you encounter online who asks you to pay for something via a wire transfer service is a scam artist, and the odds of you recovering your money are very slim.

We almost got scammed too...can't believe I was so naive! I got the same email from Sherri Gordon!! I think in this case definitely if it sounds too good to be true then it definitely is!! I am only going to book from a reputable company/agency from now on and I will be very wary about using craigslist again! Thanks for this post (a friend pointed it out...I am soooo glad!!).
