So when you call me, instead of just hanging up the phone, I'll say "Stop bribing Congressmen, [***]."That way we both win.
A man called me from 520 290-3741 he said this is a radio survey, do you listen to the radio ? I said its on sometimes but I don't always listen. He said ok and hung up.
I didn't answer the call because I saw the number was from out of state. I try not to answer because then they know they have reached a working number and could alert every other low life outfit of your number. I figure if my number is called enough without an answer maybe they'll cross me off the list.
Didn't answer because I did not recognize the number, let it go to voicemail. No message was left by caller.
You are wrong that it is not illegal for them to call cell phones...at least not in NC. Recently a class action suit was won from a company that called cell phones without permission. I wish I had known about it as I would have joined, not a fan of lawsuits, but someone has to stop these annoying calls. Working a 12 hour shift in a hospital, patients depend on my being wide awake, alert & not to mix up or overlook anything due to being woke from people like this. It might be a crappy job, but they should follow the laws of each state.
