Received my first call from them tonight. Will call the Arizona State Attorney General's Office tomorrow and report them. For those of you who don't know, the recent sequester eliminated the do-not-call list as a "budget cut." The telemarkets have been turned loose on us again.

BullCrap! Nothing even mentioned on the news, google, or the FTC website. For better or worse, the FTC/DNC still there.

Actually, FMR is a legitimate market research company. Do a little digging before you fly off at the handle.

Just got a call from this company - which we ignored. Called the number posted here & asked not to be called again. Hopefully that works. I know companies like this don't HAVE to abide by the no-call registries but it would be nice if they'd respect peoples' privacy.

Calling that company verifies the authenticity and resale value of your phone number. Only a fool would di that.

Got a call today from this number around 6 PM eastern time, it was the first, but hope it will not continue, I let the answering machine pick up, didn't even leave a message, hung up. I always check the ID before answering, never without doing that. Thought it good idea to at least let you know this number isn't going away anytime soon, from the looks of it....

Did not answer. Caller ID said FMR.

All you need do to stop receiving calls from this company is to send an e-mail to:remove@FMRassociates.comAnd include the word "remove" and the phone number to be removed )including all 10 digits) in the subject line. You will get a short e-mail apologizing for the inconvenience.

A 'kindly please take me off your calling list" means absolutely NOTHING to a person getting PAID to MAKE CALLS!!! I believe our number just then goes on to the person sitting next to them, etc, etc, etc. I have NEVER talked to ONE person who does not get upset with telemarketing calls...I can not understand why the program is even in existence. We receive enough ads in the mail, see ads on tv and SEEK out info on the NET if we are interested in getting information for a mortgage..windows...insurance..NEED I GO ON?!!! I consider it 'harassment'! I'm on the 'NO CALL LIST', I've been NICE, I've been rude, NOTHING..NOTHING stops it!!!
