It's "RACHEL from cardmember services". This is a SCAM. I have recieved multiple calls from multiple numbers for months. ALWAYS the same voice and message. ALWAYS a spoofed telephone number. If you call back right away it is busy. If you call back later it rings through and gives a phone number to take you off the list. If you call back in a couple days it is disconnected. It is always the same callback removal number and it never works. I usually answer and hang up. If it ends up being a real person they will leave a message. If not, it must not be that important. Good luck.

I am visiting Chicago and just got a call from them. I did not answer and they left no message. It seems a lot of posters are in IL / Chicago

I get calls on my cell from this number so yesterday I hit 1 and said "you people need to quit calling my cell phone" and the guy dropped the F-bomb and called me a racist?!!! These people are whacked.

I got yet ANOTHER one today...a mere 24 hours later! lol I went through with the call again...this time I let it go further...she asked if I had a visa or mastercard...if I had at least 5000 debt...I said yes...which is SO untrue...I have no credit card debt! Then she wanted to know my lenders ....I got quiet and said...yes...I should tell you my lenders...they are called prosecution of calling a cell phone for marketing! Then I told her that if they called me again I would sue..she got all pissy and said you do that! I said yes, yes I will Becca...because I got her name ahead of time! lol She hung up and seconds later I got this number on my phone...425 320 5910 ...I answered expecting to have Becca personally have callled me back to curse me as I did her....but It was a number that asked you if you want them to stop calling press one. I did. We will see how that works out.

Yes, you are correct to have the state in which you live Attorney General's Office investigate this, but unfortunately the calls MORE THAN LIKELY are coming from a "burner phone" or pre-paid wireless (cell) phone that you can pick up virtually anywhere. The drug dealers, pimps and ho's (lol) use this type of communication because by the time the wireless provider gets the info to the authorites, the phone is disconnected and/or the supena to get the info takes to long. From what I have seen the opt out list doesn't work to well because the "robo dialer"(computerized calling) calls every phone # in that block of pre-fix, ie: 818-555-1212, there are 10,000 numbers in pre-fix 555. Also, in each pre-fix (10k max) a block numbers may go to wireless providers, low income, and large business, etc. I am in the wireless industry and we have to have EXTENSIVE TRAINING on these idiots who call/email and try to "phish" for info to steal identities, which approx 10 MILLION are stolen EACH YEAR IN THE USA! For the reason of this initial google search for the the # 520-360-2728, this sounds like a "credit repair" company that has the "robo dialer" calling all numbers in a pre-fix (which would include wireless numbers), BUT if you are on the DO NOT CALL LIST and they call you (because of the robo dialer), I am sure the law has a clause that states "when the company that is in question" finds out that they called someone on the DO NOT CALL LIST, they have to immediately "cease and dismiss" all communication with that person, OTHERWISE IT IS A $10,000 FINE PER CALL AFTER THAT (and that is a federal law.Hope this helps shed some light on these type of calls.
