The same number called today - I answered. It was actually UPS with questions about a legitimate delivery. Go figure!

Woman called about a package. It is legit. I read through all of these other posts and could not stop reading as the paranoid people here are so amusing. This is not a scam. As others have stated, it really truly is UPS.Question to KAT, though, while YOU were in the month of October, what month was it for the rest of the world? Sounds like you were doing some time travel.

Got a call from this number today regarding a UPS Claim. It was legit and verified with Tracking # & Cliam # for a package that was lost.

I had submitted a trace on a package with UPS. The caller was just confirming my information in regards and already had my address and info about the package. So I am confident it was legitimate. It is possible that the above people were contacted because of a wrong number on a package and that is why they had no knowledge of the situation. This number is legit.

This is most likely a legitimate number. I had a package missing from UPS and received this call.

Missed two calls from this number today, no message on first call, second call left call back number 866-706-6897, along with a UPS tracking number. I have 5 missing packages supposedly left on my porch by UPS. Called back, reached UPS, this is a legit call, they are investigating my claims, so if you have a pending claim, call them back!Hope this is helpful.

Got a call today from someone from Arizona UPS, asking about a package that was delivered to a business and signed by Gary on Jan 29, 2010 .. yet the number and address is to my home. They stated a package was delivered to my address by mistake, yet I never seen it nor is there anyone at my house named Gary. I called back the number, but got a unuse phone message from UPS.

It really is UPS, I had a lost box from Scentsy and they knew exactly the contents of the box (Scentsy called them yesterday), it's forsure UPS.

I called the number back and the recording said it's a non working number at UPS Tuscon. BEWARE!!! These numbers can be coded to look like UPS with "Call Masking". The caller actually puts the number he wants the receiver to see into the masking system and that's what pops up on your caller ID.BEWARE!!!!
