Receved a call saying. that i randomly won 10,000.00 in us government grant money

GOT THE CALL ASKED TO BE REMOVED GOT HUNG UP ON.

the number is in a sequential countdown order beginning at 5 and restarts at zero and counts down again at 9. 543-210-9876...i believe this to be a cryptic message by some sort of indian illuminati serf.

So I got the call and took the western union option. When I called the number they gave me another foreigner answered "us treasury" or something like that. I got the same sales pitch his cousin gave me in the original call. They said that if I pay them $250 then that will cover the wire transfer. When I asked if the $250 could just be deducted from the promised 9k he became irate and said that he tried everything I could do to help me, goodbye. Hope this helps someone. Don't give up on humanity.

I find it hard to believe that people really answer a phone call they don't know who it's from and then talk to them! Also I find it hard to believe that people really call these numbers back! That is really dumb. If you don't know the number don't answer it and if they leave no message don't call them back.

I have received three calls over the last two weeks from 543-210-9876. They left a message once, claiming to be my mobile provider. I have not and will not answer their call.

I agree with JUST ME, makes no sense to answer the call or call them back.

I have received calls from 543-210-9876 this week. I answered once and it was unintelligible, and I said do not call me again. I received another this afternoon which I did not answer.

This caller has called me three times the past few days while i was in class. I haven't answered but he seems persistent.

I don't think he did considering he is still calling people.
