I have been expecting a call from a friend and wasn't sure of her number so I answered when I received a call from 543-210-9876 today and the guy did the whole grant spill. When I said I was not interested he proceeded to begin talking "dirty" to me. He even knew my name. How rude is that!
I just got a call from this number. I never answer calls that from numbers that I do not know. This great information to know regarding this number. I am going to block it right now.
I received a call from 543 210 9876 and the person who said his name is Mike Miller employee I'd# K16785. He stated that I qualify for a grant from the treasury department. He wanted a account number or a prepaid credit card number. I didn't give either and then said the money could be sent to me by western union. He said in order for the transaction to be completed I had to call back at 206 317 1435 and reference a number he gave me.After looking up the phone numbers and doing some other research everything points to a scam or fraud.
This A** H*** just called and said he was withe the US Government and when I asked how he got my # he said " from my card, F*** Y** and hung up
I have been receiving multiple calls from this number in spite of telling them not to call me again and hanging up immediately.
I got a call from the same number on my cell phone (543-210-9876). I knew it is no one that I know - or want to know! Did not answer the call. That's a little freaky that they knew your name and address but probably not terribly difficult these days. Just hang up (or don't answer in the first place), and don't give them anything else!
Claimed to be from U.S. Government Grants Dept. Wanted me to pay $200 so they could pay me $9,200.
Said she's calling from Washington D.C. but I could hardly understand her words. She said since I have paid my taxes on time I will be getting a grant for $8,500 from the U.S. Federal Grants Dept. All I had to do was give her my bank account number or charge card number. NOT!
