just got a 0924 with no message

We have received several calls from this number in the last couple of days.

Its obviously a fake number, that's why you always see phone numbers on TV and movies with 555 being the exchange (the middle 3 numbers between the 3 digit area code and the 4 digit section).A call I made once showed up as being 555-555-5555 (not intentionally). I switched my cell phone number from Sprint to T-mobile, and during the time that both phones were able to make outgoing calls, I used the T-mobile phone to call my work number. I then played back the work voicemail which indicated the phone number I called from was 555-555-5555. I think my new phone is working at my normal number and my old one is no longer capable of making calls.

I received a call from 555-555-5555 on November 5 on my cell phone.I did not answer it because the number looks suspicious. No text appeared on the phone screen.

They left a message saying have ur unit standin by

Something to think about: i would not put my number on the National Do not Call List. The reason being is that the list is for companies to buy. However it has been reported that the list can be bought by anyone, including telemarketers therefore proving them with a number to call you at.

Automated call saying this was 2nd attempt at reaching me for my car warranty! Ha, this is a work phone!
