I received a call from this # about an hour ago...didn't pick up as it said international. However, my caller id said "wireless caller". Definitely a phishing scam of some sort. I called the # back right away and it was disconnected.
These people have called several times from several different numbers. They present an "urgent" message about lowering interest rates. The opt-out by pressing 8 is a total fraud. I have pressed 8 multiple times to removed from their call list, and they keep calling. I keep filing complaints with the FCC that don't seem to accomplish very much.
Just got this call. It said, Please hold if you want to lower your credit card balance." So I press one - the past few times I got this call they just hang up when I question them. So this time I tryed to play them. I press one and some guy comes on the line that says- Do you want to lower your interest rate? Of course I do! I say. I was like but can I call you right back I am at work and I can't be on my cell at work. He said what number should I call you back at?: I said no i have to call you back - He hung up - Stupid Scammers
They called me this morning with a pre-recored spiel--when I pressed "1" and told them to remove my name I was told I needed to learn some manners and they hung up on me.

I don't answer if I don't recognize the number.In the past I have talked to my phone company and it takes a lot of work, but you can get these bogus phone calls and their numbers to stop.
Called 11:25 on 4/9/08. Automated message was about car warranty running out. Press 1 to talk to representative. Female named Charity answered. Asked what car they we asking about. They asked if I got the red and white postcard they sent? Asked me for my phone number, then hung up.

I received a text with this phone number stating that it was from the United States Postal Service and that I needed to open up an urgent notice from them.
called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
