Called with a recorded message on credit finance, I just hung up, number was way out of my area anyway and they don't know me! And I don't want to know them!
The DNC list is a bunch of HOOEY. Caller ID & VM is my best protection against scammers. There is a product out there that can block numbers from unwanted calls for $99. Worth it.Agree, these kind of calls are very annoying.
This is a scam to get your information and run up charges on your credit cards. No matter what they call you about, they will not have information about it.
This is a great blog for info on Tel: 561-482-7092 i.e., "Account Services" or "The Resolution Center" - AKA: "Hi this is Heather..." all of which are running under the master company:IXE Financial Centers / IXE Accelerated Services927 Fern StreetSte 2300Altamonte Springs, Florida 32701For weeks now "Heather" has called me 1-2x per day on our private unlisted rool over line, which we only give out to friends, family and people we want to have it. This line is unpublished and like all of my phone lines has been listed on the National Do Not Call Registry.Despite choosing the option to "opt out", Heather keeps calling me daily looking to save me money on my credit cards. Today I finally decided to press "1" to speak to a live representitive. After a long time on hold, soneone finally answered. I asked who I was reaching? "The Resolution Canter" was the answer, whie I asked who they were and where they were located the hung up on me. That's when I "Googled" the phone number for "Heather" and found a plethora of complaints, including this blog. FYI - Fed Up and Ms. Ruby's post were most helpful!!!I then called the Florida Attorney General's office at 850-414-3990 who said they had about 18 complants on file so far on this company and always a similar MO. The AG's office took my complaint, but urged me to call the Florida Division of Consumer Services (850-488-2221. They too, have about 17 complaints on file. Oddly, they actually need to get more complaints before they can take any action - So it "Heather" is harrasing you, bleas call these two State agencies and add you name so that you can go after them and IXE Financial Service Centers, to put an end to the endless telemarketing calls! Also I called IXE Financial Service Centers directly at: 888-226-5185 - I asked for either IVAN E TORRES and KIMBERLY A NELSON, which Ms. Ruby's blog mentioned. After being on hold for a while, plus going back and forth with the receptionist, apparently they found other employment and I spoke to a women named "Jamie" (who was actually quite pleasent). To told Jamie, politely that if they didn't stop calling me as of today, that I was going to become am infested boil on their [***], with the FCC, FTC, FL Attorny General and sue the [***] out of them for violating the Federal Do Not call law! She said, they she'd make sure my phone number was removed from their list. We'll see... I am pissed off enough now that I am going forward with complaints and plan to test this law with the courts. At any rate... If you're getting calls from these annoying scam artist, please let the Floriday agencies now so that they have enough complaints to proceed and notify the FCC and FTC if you're on the DNC list.
I've got calls from this numbers on my cell phone. They were talking about lowering my interest rates. I'm on the do-not-call list, but I've been getting this call.
I've had several calls from these people. I decided to answer today. Gee my car is out of warranty. I press 1 as instructed, when connected I tell them I'm on the CNC list and to give me their company name and address to report them to the FCC.Auto Protection Center(?)208 WilliamFlorence, AL 35630
I have been getting a lot more calls like this on both my home & cell phone. I too, am registered with the "no call list" I've been told that if you answer it and no one is there, they're just checking if it's a "working number". They then take that informationa and sell your numbers to different company's so they can soliciate you by phone for what ever they want to sell you. That's why we get so many junk calls.
This is the second time these people have called us. The first time I spoke with a live person who said they can lower my credit card interest rate and tried to get me to give my social security number and credit card account number, at which point I told him I wouldn't do it, and he kept trying to convince me it's OK. I hung up, then called my credit card company who said this is a scam, and that victims end up paying almost $1000 in fees for "lower interest rates". She then lowered my interest rate for me...sweet! She suggested I report this company to the FCC which I did.
