Just received a call from this number. 4/8/08 at 4:01 pm EST. I lost service in my basement so I did not hear anything they had to say. Called back and the number had been disconnected.
I too just got a call from this number, they didn't leave a message and i didn't bother calling it back.
Saw that I missed a call, tried to call back and got the disconnected message. It sounded like a recording of a recording. If they call again I'm going to try the mis-information idea :)
It's for some sort of auto warranty company. If you hold and ask to be removed from their list, they abruptly hang up on you. I've gotten 4 calls from these people
Here I go again.. They called around 8a.m. If I could, I would find these people, and kick some butts. It was a reording about lowering interest rates.When I tried (several times) to return the call to be removed , it said the # is either a non-working, or disconnected #. I dialed the USDNCR 1-888-382-1222. Well, there is no "human" there either. The recording wanted me to enter the # that had called me. I did, 3 times!!! Well, guess what? It said the # I was complaining about was MY OWN NUMBER!!! Then, I called QWEST, and tried not to be too angry..I told him about this website. And he said he would take a look. He said he would try to find out why it reverses to my #.He did tell me that the NDNCR made some changes last year, and they aren't as strict as they were in the beginning. He told me for $6.95 mo. I could have a "no solicitation" on my phone. I didn't. Let the telemarketers pay it.I hope some of you try what I did, and let us know if you get the same info.Sorry, if I made blunders. I just get angry about these phone calls..
just received a call from them too. no message. received calls from them repeatedly a few months back. from reading these other posts, i conclude this phone number has a split personality. weird...
