This is Kaiser Permanente. This number originates from the California offices. It is used to broadcast member-wide information to the members. If they leave a message and you call back, you'll use your member number to hear the message - for example during flu season the message will detail how to get vaccination.
I keep getting calls from this number at least 4x in past year. They leave no message when I let the call go to voicemail. Yes, I belong to Kaiser, and yes, I had a prescription(s) filled and mailed to me.WHY CAN'T THEY LEAVE A MESSAGE??
You can remove your old phone# from Kaiser by using your old phone call back KP as follow *675624015950, or *6715624015940Notice the extra *67. This idea was suggested by an annoyed person, whose name I forgotten, sorry not able to give credit, it seems to work fine.
This number is also used by Kaiser to confirm that an online Rx refill (requesting delivery by USPS) has been completed at Kaiser and has been picked up by USPS for routing/delivery. HIPPA rules prevent them from leaving a message.
