"Ann Reed" is one of, oh, 8 or 9 names said supervisor uses in one evening. As for supervisor, there are none. You will speak to whomever has collected the most money on that shift.

I am really pleased you had a positive experience here. There would be a much better view of collection agencies if every story turned out like yours. That being said, people are on the defensive when called by collectors. The issue is this: when the collecting agent, from the start, is rude, completely unwilling to be truthful & forthcoming with the debtor and assumes a threatening tone ( as all USCB agents are advised to do), then any possibility of an amicable resolution is irretrievably broken. Extremely poor training of USCB agents coupled with promises of big bonuses for big collections and a competitive boiler room environment all lend to high pressure, scare the [***] out of them experience. C'mon....threatening a 70 year old blind veteran with the loss of his home and arrest for fraud because he asks for proof that he incurred the debt? I am certain the FTC would take major issue with those "acceptable" collection tactics.

I looked them up on the web and they are a collection agency.

Call received asking for Kevin (last name completely butchered). When "Bob" was advised Kevin was in the hospital after suffering a stroke, Bob chuckled and said"Did my number appear on caller ID". I advised it did, he then said "ok, Kevin....you loser....when you recover from your stroke and grow some balls, I have some ppaperwork to go over with you" and laughed again before hanging up. Unfortunately, he forgot to mute his headset before the connection cut and I heard him discussing the "fu*king joke" he just busted. Fortunately, because I am both hearing and visually impaired, all calls to and from my phone are both voice recorded and transcribed...without the process of recording needing to be disclosed as it is permitted by Federal law. Recording and printed transcript being sent to PA Atty General and Federal Trade Commission.

I answered the call, it's from the USCB Corporation which is a debt collector. So, if they call, you are not required to talk to them or even answer the phone.

I just got a new phone with new service today and no one had the yet. 30 min after getting it connected, the 570-876-6309 number called me....they hung up as soon as I answered. Megan, I can tell one thing.....ALL MY BILLS ARE PAID!!!! I AM TOTALLY DEBT FREE!!! So shove that rude comment about people needing to just pay their bills........UP YOUR [***]!!! Thank You....Good day!!!

They call me all day until they close..

i just got a call from that number, again, (570 means it is a pennslyvania number.) I don't know anyone in pennsylvania. So this time i answered it to tell them to quit calling. The caller asked if Lisa was there. I said:Lisa? The caller said :Lisa Green. I said no lisa was here. And I hung up. I hope they don't call again. (I have a relatively new phone number--perhaps a lisa green owned it before I did)

I never pick up. Just get 2 calls a day from U*S*C*B Corp.
