I just got a call from this number. It was an appt. reminder at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville PA
I got a call from this number too. Called back no answer though. In one of the posts someone wrote that the call was to confirm a medical appt....and almost right after I got that mysterious call another call came in. It was a woman trying to confirm her appt with some medical center. I told her she had the wrong number but I didn't tell her I felt temporarily transported into a Twilight Zone episode: you know the one where a haunted Medical Center randomly dials people on its own spooky merit so as to dupe them into coming to the facility and then......mayhem ensues. Lol. OK that was never really an episode :-#Well anywho here's to not getting enigmatic phone calls
I got three calls from this number today - 9:30am, 9:15pm, and 11:37pm. I got several on the same day a few weeks ago and one of them was at 12:40am - really T's me off! When I pick up, I get a fax machine beep. I tried to call back, but rings more than 8 times and no answering machine. Caller id shows it as Geisinger Health. Reverse phone look up says number belongs to Thomas Hahn, MD in Danville, PA near a Geisinger Medical complex. I plan on giving them a not so nice call tomorrow.
I got a bill from MCI who told me on the phone that I had accepted a collect call from 570-953-7500 on October 14, 2010 - 2 days after I had had complete shoulder replacement at Geisinger medical center. I never received, nor did I authorize such a charge. I disputed the charge with MCI, notified my phone carrier and, at their suggestion - sent a complaint to the FCC.
I have been getting calls from this number. They never leave a message. I called it back, it just rings and rings. This is ridiculous. I also got a call from another number right after it that the person had an accent and used my maiden name (I have been married for over 7 years now) saying I had a collection account that was medical and they need my SSN, and insurance info to correct it. Seriously?! I obviously told them they had the wrong number and never to call back. Who would give their SSN out to anyone over the phone? Hopefully NOBODY! Be careful with your info people. DO NOT fall for these scams.

Comes up in my phone as a medical clinic, but when I called them they're some business that supposedly works with Medicare? I'm too young for medicare. Scam call.

Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
