My husband had suurgery 2 weeks ago at geisenger and this number called his cell (more than once) and was asking a lot of medical questions which he answered because he has ongoing health issues with geisinger. I told him he should not speak to them again unless they provide a call back number as some way to verify who they are!!! The questions were intense and did not make sense. If they called the home number I would have been asking the questions! I think it is a scam so I would advise not speaking with them. Geisinger should be checking this out and will tell them about it.
It can't obviously be a call reminder for an appt. because I do not have any upcoming appts with any geisinger doctor.
Geisinger uses a variety of different numbers to make their outbound calls. Many of these lines cannot be called back as they are outbound only. Yes, I worked for them for 8 years. Seems odd but it's true. As for the not leaving a message, that I am not certain of unless somehow the computers decided to run amok and auto-dial numbers in their file. If you get a call, it very well could be the medical center trying to get ahold of you. I suggest calling back their main number and inquiring about it. (570) 271-6211

I got 77 calls over the weekend from this number. None of them legitimate. I have blocked the number on my phone, but this number left 77 vm messages in my inbox! I am pretty annoyed. What should I do?

this is GMC (geisinger) could be for billing collections for appointment confirmation or any number of reason why they might be calling..
They just tried to get my home address. This is scary!! She said she wanted to make an appointment but I never go there anyway. Just the fact that she wanted my home address is very nerving.

Comes up in my phone as a medical clinic, but when I called them they're some business that supposedly works with Medicare? I'm too young for medicare. Scam call.
Sounds like a potential call center scam.
Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
