Well, I did had an appointment with my surgeon. The thing is I rather not do it by phone Haha just personally I would fill out a short survey they have themselves.
I work for hospital network. We where informed that press gany survey co. May randomly contact people. Ive been contacted myself. But in my caae i wasnt paying attention and answered my phone.
Calling to do a "Health Survey". Would not tell where they obtained info about me, asked me to hold when I answered THEIR call. Hung up on them. Nothing listed on caller ID except the phone number.
Sorry fir your loss. Definitely vad timing. Hope they dont start calling you. God bless you in your difficult time. Dont leave a message. Cant be bothererd with someone who cant leave a message.
UTEX, PUT A SOCK IN IT!The caller is am Indiana contract company that does follow-up surveys for hospitals.I am a recent outpatient at a St. Louis Hospital, and listened to the survey questions regarding my operation. They're legit; but CAN be a bother! If i have a question regarding my major surgery, I will call the hospital -not a survey caller from Indiana.
It is a Health Survey. I recently got stiches at Memorial Hermann Hospital. When being discharged they asked if I could fill out a survey on their website. I presume because I never did, this company is now calling so I can do a phone survey. And no, I'm not lying. Nor was the other individual who commented. If you don't want them calling, than answer and asked to be removed from the calling list or just complete the survey. It's as simple as that.
Actually, even if they were legit, they wouldn't have access to much of anything in your records because of HIIPA laws, which forbid giving out any sort of info on a patient's medical records. The most they would have is a general idea of what hospital (because the hospital would set up the survey), maybe the dates (although I don't think they can even give that out) and of course a contact number for you which you would have provided when signing in. Anything else, and the hospital and the survey company would be in violation of federal law. (Source: Worked in a hospital environment for over 15 years, had to know HIIPA both for receiving clerk (possible handling of patient items being shipped in, etc) and switchboard (having to explain to callers why we couldn't give out info on patients, period). And yes, most hospitals will send out a survey after a stay for the reasons stated before, to make sure you were treated well, satisfied with your service, and to give you a chance to lodge any complaints (including, if you choose, the fact that you were subject to an unsolicited survey once you left!)
I received two calls from this number, claimed to be calling to do a survey for "Alameda Alliance for Health".The first call, they badly mispronounced my name - and I said I wasn't in, to leave a message. The caller declined to do so. I tried calling the number right back - no answer. At that point I called Alameda Alliance for Health and they said, "No one should be calling on our (their) behalf to conduct surveys."I got another call a few minutes ago - different person - same speech about conducting surveys. I told them of my call to the Alliance for Heath people, at which point the caller emphatically insisted that the call was legit. At that point, I insisted that they take me off their call list - permanently.
