I am a small business owner who was recently solicited by this company for some video advertisement. The saleswoman went on and on about this so called conference of mayor's and my town and being in on a great marketing investment blah blah blah. After searching for them on Google and seeing "cgi communications scam" come up as an instant result, this immediately threw up a red flag for me. On top of it, they use adwords advertising to "check out CGI's reputation". They put in an awful amount of work to try to manage their reputation online but then take a step back when some of their employees blow up this board. For example, "Legit" is the same person from CGI who trolls these message boards and always says the company is "legitimate". Doesn't he/she know that this only further damages CGI's reputation?Anyways, I'm glad for online resources like this that tell me who and what CGI really is. I will not be doing business with them. And if your like me, a small business owner who doesn't know CGI Communications and your coming across these comments, I would second guess my decision to do business with them also.

Wow you must really be a strong person. Most of us would be physically sick if our "job" required us to go online and lie about not being a SCAM. It takes a really strong person without a conscience to do what you must do day in and day out. It's a special kind of strength and it's truly amazing that our species is afflicted with the kind of infection amazing people like you represent.

I worked for this company for a short period of time, I found it to be a unprofessional company to say the least and yes it's a scam!! They mislead businesses to get their sales rep in the door by throwing around the city & mayor's name they never tell the prospect that it's advertisement or that there is a cost they mislead the businesses into thinking it's a program the city wants the businesses to be apart of and the businesses think the city is footing the bill. I can see from this site their sales rep are unprofessional as well by the way their speaking on this forum any reputable company would not allow their employees to comment on this type of forum using the type of language that I have read here!!

Nonsense, you are so right, I worked for them for a short period and I picked up quick on the drinking and parting the executives do with the employees and sexual comments are at the top fo their conversation all the time boy do I feel dumb for accepting the position. The sales maanger is a unprofessional thug!!

Annoyed, I worked for them for a short peorid of time and tehy do lie to get their sales people in the door and I as a sales rep did not realize it until the prospects I met with told me they had been mislead and more then one prospect said that to me! If they lie to u don't do business with them why are they lying???

I work as a legitimate SEO that was hired by CGI to create results for individual city listings. It was challenging task and at the same time thrilled to have the opportunity to quote a large project for multiple cities. My demonstration proved to be wildly successful but as it turns out I was used like everyone else. I was told directly by Barfo that SEO was dead in order to intimidate make me a sweat shop professional. Once inside I realized how bad they were ripping people people off. My episode was 4 years ago and it still bugs me. I get results... they just steal. Not sharing my name... just reporting.

Watch the local news...the CEO of CGI was asked to leave a downtown Rochester establishment....got combative, loud and was charged with resisting, trespass and something else. Yep, very professional. Karma baby, karma.
