I worked at this company for almost two years, there are some reallly good talented hard working individuals that work at CGI but they are limited in their ability to do a good job. More money gets spent on parties rather than the actual videos. There mottto is no one gets a refund, regardless! Salesman are under constant pressure to sell, they are very badly verbally abused and risk being fired if they do not sell. They def keep a bunch of attractive woman around to help sell and satify their own needs. There is a CGI cruise that goes on twice a year and that is when the head of the company is at its slimiest. The one head honcho over there that does work hard all the time is their CFO Tim. I feel bad that they have a good hard worker working in such a sleezy company who keeps trying to come up with different schemes. If they actually put money into their products they might actually work but they would rather put the money in their pocket. And trust me, I know for a fact that there is not a lot of repeat business, maybe 5 percent renew and that is being generous.

I only hope this post helps future sales professionals from getting dooped like I did. This company will hire under almost entirely false pretenses, and tell you they want to see you succeed and they will provide you with all the support you need. That is a complete lie, in fact they only give positive attention and sales reinforcement to the established sales reps that have been there for years. They throw happy hours and parties filled with free alcohol as supposed employee appreciation events, when it is very clear they are just creating an opportunity for the VPs to get their female execs sloppy drunk and try to sleep with them. (and most of them succeed) The products they sell are definately legitimate, but there is no real business plan attached to them. They partner up with a city for an initial video project and sell well out the gate, but then it is an absolute free for all of calls for the next several months..years even..to the same businesses over an over for the same product. New video products and internet marketing concepts are constantly being developed and launched...they eventually fail and sales people are moved to the next one. There is no way for a new sales person exec or associate to be successful and you will eventually leave or be fired. I could go on and on about the comany culture and shady sales behavior..but hopefully what i have said should be enough to spare anyone else the exposure to this ridiculous place.
