I had a missed call on my cell phone left about 8 am Pacific time- no message was left. The area code is listed as Guadeloupe in the French West INdies/Caribbean
Caller Said she was from Homes (something).com? I asked her to repeat herself, telling her it was a bad connection. She started to repeat, then I hung up. Thick accent, I could barely understand her.
Repeated phone calls to my cell phone. No message. I've tried to call back and the phone goes dead. From the above posts, it appears to be calling from the West Carribean. Sounds like some telemarketing scam. I advertise a cabin for rent under VRBO. For some reason I suspect they got my number from there. I'm curious if anyone else called is on VRBO.
I keep getting calls from this number but I never answer because I don't recognize the number. But they keep calling anyway and never leave a message. Is there a way to block particular numbers so they never ring or get through? If there is not a way of doing this, there should be. The phone companies could make a fortune providing that kind of feature. Everytime you get a call from someone you never want to hear from again, press * something or other, and wa la, they are blocked any time they try calling again. Does this exist?
