i got a cal also today11-28-2007 9:40 amthey did not leave a message

I have received several of these calls starting November the 18th. No one is ever at the other end when I answer. I also advertise on VRBO. I'm going to report to VRBO as they may have sold telephone numbers.

590-783-7178 keeps calling twice a day. When I answer no one is there. No message. When I dial it back i get this is not a working number. I also have had listings on VRBO

My phone rang twice, I answered with hello 2 times and no response. I also have a listing on vrbo. Caller ID shows 590-783-7178 and unknown name.

No one said anything after answering my phone. I, too, have a listing on VRBO.

I received a call today, 11/30. A man, with a very heavy foreign accent,starts to sell me website design, especially for vacation property owners.(I don't have a VRBO listing, so it didn't come from there.) I startedto tell him that here, in the US, we have something called a "do not call"list. He hung up.

They continue to bug me from this number.

I also have a cell phone number and I am a VRBO owner.

I received a missed call from 590-782-7178. When I returned the call to the phone number a man by the name of Howard answered. He indicated that the phone number was correct but not the area code. He said I had called a local university.

received a call weeks ago. A guy claiming to be Simon says he can increase advertising. I asked him for his number so I could call him back and he gave me a dif. number from the caller ID. He was reluctant to do this. He has called about 10 times since and I finally answered today. Same guy, same name, and I told him to stop calling, not interested in the sevice. NOt sure what kind of scam they have going on.
