I hate it when they ask for me by my first name but never offer thier name, where and why they are calling!Last time I did talk to him, yes they want to build a web site for our vacation rental....590 is in the French West Indies Caribbean Islands

I received a call from 590-783-7178 and it identified as St. Ba (couldn't read the resto fo the characters before they dissappeared).The area code is listed as French West Indies Caribbean Islands. I also have a VRBO listing so this idiot is using these to get phone numbers for unwanted solicitation.

I too have received a couple of calls from this number... I have a listing on VacationRentals.com

i keep getting calls from this number and i keep asking them to stop calling me but they will not

I have had this same thing happen several times at my office. Every time I insist they do not call and obviously they say I have never told them.

Happened again today they hung up before I could speak to them.

The call rings once & before I can answer it, it stops. Something tells me that this person needs an open phone line to do whatever illegal activity they are doing. I'm calls from this phone number at least once every 30 to 60 minutes for the last 4 days. If this continues I will be reporting this to the appropiated athorities & let the law-enforcement deal with them.

As to whether they actually are is another story. I will be notifying the U.S. Feds in regards to this matter. 590 is an area code for the French West Indies/Caribbean Islands. Obviously whoever this is, is looking to use a U.S. number for whatever they are doing & probably something illegal.My name is Marla & I'm co-owner of our investigators company. These people call asking if I would like to pay off a debt to my credit card company by paying 55 cents on the dollar and it seems that they got my phone number from the previous homeowner that had my number and has the same first name. When I answered they said hello to Robert and offered to pay off the debt. It seems that the aforementioned person owes money and has not paid his bill and has either left the area or changed his phone number. I got a few calls and told the caller that the phone was not that person and they removed the number from their database. But it seems the 590-783-7178 doesn't adhere to US requirements.
