caller id said unknown caller...called this number back and got message that this is a number not in service

Received call from this phone number. Didnt answer. Called back and my phone returned with "User Busy".

Answered, sounded like an automated data gathering system trying to talk about car insurance changes.

Caller started in on wanting to go over the details of how my car insurance bill has gone down this year (trying to give the impression they are my current insurance company). I asked if they had sent me this information in writing and she went into a panic - tried to transfer me to a "specialist".Since they also appear to be spoofing an out of service local number, I would assume that they are more likely scammers than garden variety telmarketers.

Got a call from (603) 259 1593 on my business mobile phone. Answered but the caller hung up. Thought it might be a legit dropped call so I called back. Recording said number not in service. Seems a little fishy so beware.

got a call at 10:53 am woman said hello my name is sam. sorry to bother you, goodby. then she hung up

15-20 minutes before I received a call from this number I was actually talking with my car insurance company. Then I got the call, woman said her name was sam (maybe?) and started asking questions about my current insurance. I believe this was my insurance company calling to get more info about the previous call. Called the 259-1593 number back and its out of service.Sketchy!
