Received an automated call of course about some credit card scam for lower interest rates. If you hit one to speak with their cheap labour and ask to speak to a supervisor they HANG UP on you ! Beauty you cannot even get their name to make a complaint
How to beat & stop these telemarketing scams...credit card scammers. The way to stop them is to make it unprofitable for them....talk to them for awhile. ask lots of questions...prolong it then give them a bogus credit card #.... when they say they can't pull that # up (they're testing it) have them repeat it back to you several times like you can't understand them(often quite true!) then say no that's not right give it to them again with one number different....go through the process again..... when that all doesn't work....tell them well...I have another card try it...go through the whole process again and again if you have to ....make it really frustrating for them and waste THEIR time.... if everyone does this they'll stop calling cause it will be unprofitable for them to pay these idiots to call us and spend unprofitable time on the phone with us. When we just hang up...they move on untill they find a "scamable Sucker" that "pays" Lets all waste Their time! it can be fun!!! why let them win! They can't pay these idots wages forever!
This number calls frequently and we let the answering machine take the call. They obviously don't have any messages for us as they hang up soon into our message... Call display is a grand thing!
Said hello ... no answer .... said ' beep then paused for a couple of seconds and said "beep' again. Nobody or nothing responded (i.e. digital/answering machine). Blocked the caller. Frig scammers!!!
So you're saying that people who are scammers were born with nothing, and therefore became drug addicts, and becoming a scammers was their only option? It sound like you believe this is acceptable. One of the qualities that defines a human is having moral values--anyone who can intentionally cheat others on a daily basis lacks this quality, and falls into a category of "less than fully human".
I have also been receiving calls from various 604 exchange numbers. All of them are scams. And also fact, is that most of them do have East Indian/ Pakistani accents. I had one guy call me about my computer, telling me I had a major virus and was broadcasting it to Microsoft. I didn't even have my computer on at the time and hadn't for 4 days. He was persistent even to calling back 3 times within 10 minutes. I just stopped answering the calls. I also am on the "do not call list"The worst ones are the ones who call fax lines all the time and send out multiple messages for businesses that are no where near you, wasting paper and ink that could be put to better use. No matter how many times you call and request to be removed from their list, the number just changes by one digit and you are right back where you started from. Unable to do legitimate business without having to deal with scammers.
I'm sorry, but people who have no morals, no conscience and who prey on others like parasites ARE less than human and deserve no consideration. I was once poor too, but scamming people was not the option I came up with. The only people I have sympathy for are the victims of these disgusting lowlifes.
I certainly agree with you, outright criminals, such as the card service scammers,do not obey any laws including the do not call list. As I see, it the difference is, the scammers only use a spoofed number and name for a short duration and then change it, once people catch on, and start posting on sites such as this, with their only intention of deceiving people, so they can rip them off, and remain difficult to trace and prosecute. There are possible benefits to having a spoofed number, including anonymity and cost, but the fraudulent use should be pursued by the government.
