The law should do something about them!As a red-blooded Canadian honckey player, I hate when I see these types, with their dark glasses hangin' around school yards trying to hook our kids!

Just got home and had a message from these guys again.Apparently you have to renew your name on the DNC list every three years or it drops off. I did renew mine but still get calls. Most of these scammers used spoofed numbers though and are not actually located in Canada. I noticed a ton of ( real ) Canadian businesses have been actually been hiring US or offshore telemarketers to call to skirt the DNC lists though. I have reported several of them. I actually phone those businesses directly and let them know it's illegal to call people on the DNC list and they are being reported. Ask the telemarketer for full details of the company in Canada they are working for, google the head office number of the business and give them a call continually until they put you in touch with the big cheeze if you have free long distance. Report, report, report!!! Make sure to report them to the better business bureau too even if they are not registered with them. If a business resorts to taking their telemarketing out of the country to get past the DNC list in Canada they deserve to have their reputation ruined as far as I'm concerned.

The "card services" scammers don't use any of their ill-earned money for Christmas presents for others, only for the continuation of their disgusting addictions! They are the very lowest class of society--the druggies!

Yes it is Frustrating! But I think if you make a Police report they would have to follow up!!We had an experience many years ago where Bell Canada gave our old business number to a Phone Booth that someone had decided to make up-seen phone calls from. The individual receiving the calls made a Police report & the Police showed up at our door just because Bell left our names attached to this account for some 4-5 yrs later! My point is if everyone on this site complained wouldn't they have to look into it? And aren't ALL VoIP numbers traceable as well??

Got a couple calls from that name and same number as well. If I don't recognize the name or number I don't answer. They called the home number twice, then the office number which is a fax number. Hope the fax screech shut them down. I used the # on the call to the house after the second call. They think that if they use a "name" you'll assume it's a wrong number or a real person looking for you. If they want me bad enough, and I haven't answered, they can leave a voice mail. Telemarketers rarely do. :)
