Got the call, and was fooled because it had a name on the call display and I was expecting calls from that area code. Oh well...
sounds very similar, the caller was fishing for info, he said he was calling from visa then flip flopped to mastercard. when i asked about what bank he was calling from he just replied with "you should know your own bank" and that he couldnt reveal that for security reasons. when i kept pushing back i was told to "f*** off" and he hung up!
called me at 2:05pm, in newmarket ontario.. credit card automated scam with the offer to lower the interest rate if I press 1. I hung up and added them to my block list.
Credit card company message (last notification to pay your credit card acct) which I don't have. So I hung up and dialed *57 for trace and the recording stated it was successful but I would have to report to police which I did not want to do so I dialed *60 to block caller. Name shown on phone was M. McGee.
lower rate on my Credit Cards when I advised them the call was being recorded they hung fast
Just received a call from this number. Did not answer. Message was regarding lowering the interest rates on my credit cards. Hard to get lower than zero which is what I pay now for always paying balances in full. Put number on call block for future attempts.

I received a text with this phone number stating that it was from the United States Postal Service and that I needed to open up an urgent notice from them.
called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call
