that number is calling and keep a half minute silent and then hang off in their end.it must be some specious people purposely doing that on their specious purpose.

I agree for you 100 %.it so unshame people to trap the people of the world. But I don't know how to eliminate those germs.

Am in Toronto. Called today at 11:30 a.m. Partial msg about 'rates" on my answering machine. Last bogus call from this scam number about 2 weeks ago.

Get calls every day. Want them to stop.

I've received calls from this number a few times. I answered it today in order to ask that I be taken off their calling list and the person on the other end actually argued and yelled at me!! Good grief!

I decided to stay on the line to see who was calling me. I asked the person's name and he told me "Chris Martin". Who knows if this is his real name or not. When I asked how he got my number, he hung up on me. This number is located in BC - how come they are not respecting the "do not call" registry? And where is the enforcement of the law??

I answer calls even if I don't know the number, as often it's someone's cell phone number or it's a service person who I'm waiting for but don't know their cell number etc.Anyway, even with answering these calls, I hang up if there is no immediate response once I've said 'hello' - that's an obvious junk call. Then, even if I talked to someone I honestly can't imagine punching in any numbers or doing anything on my phone or computer for them... seriously, that's such an obvious prank I'm very sorry to hear people fall for it. I just say "no thanks" and hang up. I was curious about this number as I have many friends with that area code and was not home to take the call and just saw it in the 'missed calls' log. No way would I have given out or punched in any info and I really hope the message gets out to those who, for some reason, give in to these scammers. Report it, we have a special section in the local police to track down these scammers, so they need to know.
