This number is actually from NoMoRo## call blocker, patching through a call which was initially intercepted by NMR, but a live person (likely more telescum) was able to enter the correct code to bypass NMR, and transfer the call back.Phone rang at 11:00, but was intercepted by NMR after two rings, then at 11:01 phone rings again, but this time from 608-371-6666 via NMR patching through the live caller that originally called at 11:00.

I got this call spoofing this number immediately after n-m-r-b blocked 'Shirley Jones' 502-276-3480 which is a fake charity scam.

This caller is a frequent flyer. We have NomoRobo. The phone rings once, and Caller ID just reads, "Incoming Call" and leaves no trace thereafter that any call came in. Immediately after NomoRobo cuts it off after one ring, we receive a second call, which seems to always ring only twice. (Our setting is for our voice message to kick in after six rings); Caller ID displays this number, and does leave a record that the call came in. Of course there are no messages. Calls like these want to be sneak attacks.

Said they were from American Express calling regarding some disputed charge and debt review. had a heavily accented voice (like Indian, far eastern, etc.)

This number is actually from your call block service (NMR), patching through the original call that was intercepted 30 seconds before. Most likely was LIVE telescum, who was able to enter the requested verification code, allowing them to to effectively bypass NMR, resulting in NMR patching the call back to you.

with these criminals - have now reported them to nomorobo three times - including that they are being impersonated!

received a call from 855-922-4486 and it was blocked by nomorobo, but then 2 seconds later got a call from 608-371-6666. Woman asked to speak to me by name, but then wanted me to give her my address to verify who she was speaking with. Told her hell no and asked who she was. She said she was calling about my investments. I told her to get lost and never call me again.
