Call received immediately after 631-261-8800 was successfully blocked by Nomorobo. Reading forward, this appears to be a work-around for Nomorobo when detected by caller. Why they'd think that anyone that subscribes to Nomorobo (or Do Not Call for that matter) is prime fodder for telemarketing scams is beyond me.
I think this is used to defeat some call blockers. First this number, and then within a few seconds, the real telemarketer's number. At least that's what my call log reports.
My nomorobo caught the first call,seconds later the same number got through. Interesting though the number has a plus sign up front indicating a foreign origin. Spoofed to read Dun and Bradstreet, a highly regarded finance firm in NYC. I have to give these criminals a nod to creativity.
Call from a blocked number 845-495-3006...immediately followed by call from 607-371-6666. Blocking that one too! And yes...they can attach to numbers that you will answer! So...I just don't answer the phone anymore!
6 calls from these guys and all the Caller ID's are the phone number or lately JANESVILLE, WI. WTF?
First number that called was 877-958-2752 when I didn't answer they hung up and called from 608-371-6666
Spoofing is real common. We get calls from Summer residents who are definitely not here. They even use the local clinic number. Hard to believe with all the technology that these crooks can't be nabbed. We average 3-6 scam call a day.
Called my unlisted number at 1:15 PM July 5, 2016. Caller ID said Maine Med CT. I've never been to Maine or dealt with anyone there. They left a voice message stating "This message is forthis is Dexter Roley here with Fidelity investments. Giving you a call about your account. Wanna discuss few things with you. So if you will give me a call back my number is 800-544-5315. Attention 78776 and I will talk to you then. Thanks."
This robo call 608-371-6666 came after (2 seconds) another call (only ring once) 623-282-3235. I wonder if there is a new scamming scheme now.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.
