I answered only because I was waiting for an emergency call report from the 609 area code. A woman with a Jersey accent claimed to be calling on behalf of Southwest Airlines. Before going into whatever spiel she might have had, she asked the usual how are you today? I told her I was expecting an emergency call from that area code. She hung up. Southwest doesn't do telemarketing--so old scam number, new scam.

This number called the office Friday after hours. It's a shame if it was the so-called "infected computer" shtick. I love to waste time with them or tell them stories so outrageous they can't wait to hang up on me.

These calls have been non stop for over 2 years for me. You can block them but they always call from a different number weeks or days later. Sometimes they use 9 digit numbers which I didn't think was possible. Same Indian accent. Some are even threatening, demanding I give them $150.00, stating my anti virus has expired. I even told them that I no longer have a computer and they hang up only to call again. I've blocked them well over 50 or 60 times. They're lucky they're not local or I would be in jail for battery.

First time they called I said put me on the do not call list. I didn't receive a call for a month. After that about a week ago I started receiving phone calls, some days 2 or 3 times. Today I received 2 calls, so I decided to find out who was calling. I directed the phone call to take me to customer service. I then received a message stating this phone number didn't accept incoming calls.

Today was back braces (scam)

Interesting! This number just called me, had my name too, and represented themselves as "Insurance Solutions". I've had innumerable calls from "Insurance Solutions" in the last few months. I yelled at her that I had asked them repeatedly not to call, then I hung up.

First scammer to hang in on my cell all the way thru the voice mail greeting. I appreciate all the comments above as I will now add this number to the blocked list. Sadly, I suspect I'm blocking a spoofed number but have to try something
