This is a prymid scam. They hire you immediately for sales but never give you any leads until you recruite others who then do the same. Be very careful with this company cause they are sneaky. SCAM SCAM SCAM!
I see this company is still up to its old tricks that they've been playing for a few years now. I received a call from a Lena Blessing on her personal cellphone (267-969-8848). She said she was calling from Torch Mark but never stated what type of company it was. She wanted to ask me some questions about my current position. After I answered those questions she said they were looking to hire either a Benefits Specialist or a Team Leader (none of which I have experience in) and asked if I could come in to interview the next morning at 10:00. The Blue Bell address is an hour and 26 minutes away from my home and I refused to travel that far not knowing any specifics so I immediately googled the address and up pops American Insurance Company and then I came across this site. I am sooooo grateful for whoever started this thread. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! No one has time to waste.
Thanks so much for these posts! I would have went way out of my way to go to this interview and paid for gas and babysitters.
Have been playing phone tag with a Syrena Blessing at the phone number (267-969-8848). She stated that she was from AIL Torchmark. It took me five times to actually hear that. No clear sense on what they do. Not a good sense of their credibility. Be warned.
I got a call from the number 610-279-4801 today at 9:36am...the woman never gave her name, never asked me about my background, only mentioned she was given my resume by her director because they found on CareerBuilder.com...she invited me to an interview tomorrow morning. The woman sounded very scripted- she kept asking am I looking for a career, do I want unlimited income, yada, yada, yada...so I accepted the interview invite and again she never mentioned the company...so she proceeded to give me the address where the interview is going to take place, time, and told me to dress professional (duh- it's an interview)...I could tell she was rushing because she didn't even want to wait until I repeated the info back to her...before we hung up I asked her what was the name of the company and she said American Income. 30 seconds later I googled the company and telephone number and needless to say I will not be attending the interview tomorrow. BTW the interview sounded like it was more like an information session. I called the 610-279-4801 number back to attempt to cancel, but it was a voicemail...no company name, just a voicemail...this company is very suspect and I want no parts of it. Thanks to all who is reading this.
I received multiple voice mails from 267-419-8825 from a person calling themselves Dean who said he was from AIL Torchmark. The call back number he left was 610-279-4801. I called back one day just to satisfy my curiosity and a woman answered the phone simply with "hello." I asked for Dean and she said he was not in. So I left my number and a message. He called me back the next day and asked me about my most recent position and what my three greatest strengths were. It was very noisy in the background and he never told me what position they were hiring for. He said my interview would be the next day at noon with a person named Shorne Brown. The address he gave was 279 Penlyn Blue Bell Pike. He did not mention the name Hausman but I did drive by the building and saw that name on the sign out front. Never went to the interview but it seems like a total scam.
