I agree with you all the way on that one. I feel as though these phone calls are a waste of my time and if nothing is done about my information be used fraudulently I will take that action of reaching the hire authority.
Thank you for your post, I had the same problem, had to listen to the vm about 10x to realize the person calling was from AIS Torchmark. I got the vm this morning and the background was very noisy and I didn't like that when I called back there was no personal message, just rang a lot, automatically said # and to leave a vm. I was very suspicious. It's disheartening getting calls like this when trying to find a new job. Person's name was Julia something at 267-252-3311.
Did anyone respond to a job posting for the position of Team Leader to a company that did not list the name of the hiring organization? Something felt suspicious about the ad. The phone number listed above was listed on the ad to request an interview immediately from the hrs of 8-2. I called from a hidden number after hours and a voicemail with the outgoing message of "Human Resources" in a female voice with a heavy accent. After reading the comments here, it makes sense that this is a job difficult to fill and though the job isnt a scam, the hiring processes is as it is misleading.
So what the hell happened!!! These [***] just set me up for a interview on Tues for entry level management so glad I saw this because I will not cancel a damn thing I will not show up thats all there is too it!!
I'm questioning the legitimacy of Monster.com after I posted my resume on their site and have been getting calls from American Income (life insurance) at 610.279.4801, as well as Bankers at another number. Whenever the economy takes a downturn, life insurance companies get desperate for sales people, which they go through very quickly. Not a good move for anyone who's looking for a stable position, and Monster.com should be ashamed of themselves for being part of what is in essence a "legal scam."
this is a pyrmaid scheme type of deal. Google the name fred hadayia. He sends call and resumes to nearly everyone he can. Click block, press the little red button on your phone and save yourself the hassle.
American Income Life Insurance Company, like other insurance companies impacted by the recession, is trying to increase declining revenue by throwing more sales bodies at the problem. It costs them little to put you on commission-only compensation. Their desperation comes from the fact that nobody really NEEDS insurance, so it's the first bill you quit paying when you lose your job. So now they're calling anybody with a resume on Monster, regardless of their background, to recruit them for insurance sales; never mind that most people would rather stick needles in their eyes. Farmers is even telling potential agents that they will give them their own brokerage, "no insurance experience required". That makes me almost feel sorry for existing Farmers brokerages that have been built by experienced brokers.
