Actually, if a warrant is put out for you to appear in court and you do not appear, you CAN get arrested for not appearing. That's the whole point of the warrant. You're not being arrested for the debt. You're being arrested for failure to appear.
Received Unknown Caller from this number. Rejected and sent to voicemail. I received a 1 second voicemail of nothing from them.
A magistrate is a judge. Judges do not serve summons. Thier magistrate's bailiffs do that for them. You must work for Portfolio Recovery.
Called on cell phone, did not leave a message. If not important enough to leave a message, then there is no answerrneeded for these folks. Not sure how they got my cell phone- but I rarely use the cell phone anyway.
The number called me 11 times in about a minute and a half. When the cell rang I did not recognize that number and ignored the number. Just as soon as I did that, it rang immediately, this time I hit answer and discontinued the call and my phone rang immediately again the second and I did the same thing again. This went on for 10 x after the first call within a time span of 90 seconds. Just how they were able to call back so quickly is not anything that I have ever seen before. My call log shows 11 calls from that number between 1138 AM and 1139 AM and I do intend to file a written complaint with the powers that be as well as to block that number.
This number called me yesterday. My phone immediately marked it as suspicious spam.Did not answer, and no voicemail left, as mine is not set back up yet.If this is a debt collector, they have no reason to be calling me, as I have perfect credit and no past debts.
Portfolio recovery....this fell off my credit a few years ago. Also note I filed bankruptcy back in 2009!!! The bankruptcy etc all fell off my credit reports several years ago. I too block the number wish there was a class action lawsuit!
Called, didn't answer, left no message. Have perfect credit with no outstanding debt. No reason for collectors to call.

Caller wanted personal information and claimed to be from some credit company that does not exist.

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
