They will call relatives of people that have debt too. I'm getting calls about my sister's debt.
The Police will NOT show up at your door. No one goes to jail for failing to show up in court over an unpaid debt.
I completely agree... my sister in law has been served numerous times for outstanding debt and collections and this number calls me about her debt. You will not have a warrant and the police will not show up at your door. @ Heidi, maybe you work for these people. Lol
She wanted money from my Deceased Son that died 14 yrs ago. I explained that the Probate Courts settled All of his Debts in & at that time All Creditors were Offered their Opportunity to make any Claims. She informed me that She is going to Sue Me for the Original Amount of $2415.00 plus Interest totaling over $31,000. If I dont settle now for a $18,564.00 lump sum payment? I called the Original Probate Attorney & was told they have broken the law by making threats towards me and he has offered his retainer onba contingency basis of 30% of their Legal Settlement to be determined a the State of California Judicial System.
