Called my direct desk line....no one there

These bottom-feeding, scum-sucking scam artists called our business phone at 1814 hours. As we had long since been closed for the day, I let the recorder pick it up. The morons didn't bother leaving a message. For those who think these calls are DNC-related, get a clue. Businesses aren't even on DNC lists (it applies only to consumers) so we constantly get calls from scam artists. They don't need any lists. They have auto-dialers that go through numbers one digit at a time.

Telephone number rings 5-7 times, engages messaging, no message. Appears without area code.Caller ID appears: 356-4651, next line: Massachusetts.

I wish you'd run it by us first :-( as I believe providing your numbers to the NDNCList will only add to your woes I truly believe that the list is shared, if not sold. It's a huge money maker, selling lists to 'interested' 3rd parties.

Yes, and you are not imagining it. I've believed it for years, that the calls have doubled exponentially each year that I've renewed my numbers which we're supposed to do every 5 years. I regret listing with the FCC 15 years ago or whenever I first learned of the list. As Seth Meyers would say "yer burnt" , only this time it 'wer burnt'

I would like to know if you even went to school. Do you know how to use a paragraph? Be a good little boy and go back to your basement until your mother calls you for dinner.

I believe the official word used for this practice is "spoofing"
