Thank you! you are the only one who has posted USEFUL information. I am not interested if they called someone and hung up and did not leave a message. I am interested in knowing WHO called and WHY they were calling so that I can do two things. 1. Block the number if necessary and 2. Report them to the DO not Call Registry.
No message left. We don't use Verizon wireless. I called it from a VOIP number that doesnt take incoming calls. The number was reported to be out of service.
Hang up calls on land line. Number says Massachusetts in caller ID. I live in MA but didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer.
Received a call from this number a short time ago, that I did not recognize or answer......no message! Caller I D shows Ma.
Think you missed a few words and your grammar sucks. "I would lie to you" - end, second paragraph is the one I'd like to point out the most. It made me laugh.P.S.To all those saying you're on the Do Not Call Registry, it's not against the law for a telemarketer to call you while you're on this list. When the government rolled out the service they did note that this was a courtesy list (reference only) and that it would not stop actual telemarketing calls. You may remember that people freaked about having to register their cell phones- as a rumor went out that cell phones would start to become published (quite a laugh) and so people started registering their cell numbers on this list... Most legitimate companies abide by this list because they have actual Better Business Practices- they're legit. You're getting these calls on your cell phone because you've 1.) registered it on the DNC Registry; 2.) because you signed up for something online and they sold your information; or 3.) Your information was sold by a legitimate company (like when you bought a vehicle and your warranty is about to expire- yes dealerships give out your information to extended warranty companies and those companies also sell their lists to other companies).Best way to solve the problem:iphone: use the block caller feature on your phone. No app store download required.Android: download the app with the highest rating and the most responses.Landline: to avoid spending money, buy Caller ID, or a phone with a digital display that will at least allow you to preview the number (unknowns are an obvious don't answer). Or contact your phone company for potential services they might offer. In my experience there haven't been any, but you can ask that one be blocked if the harassment is evident (multiple calls past a very rude time of day...)FYI. That's real help right there. And of course, I got a call from this number, because a car I no longer own is about to have its EasyCare extended warranty expire and every unknown on my phone has been about re-enrolling it- quite a laugh when I make up stories to be removed from any company's list- hey if they're bugging me why not have fun with them? When I returned the call, it was not Verizon calling me- I'm not sure why people are reporting this- but it's a message from Verizon because the wireless cell number was a Verizon number from the Boston, Mass area. My recorded message explained that the number was no longer in service or had been changed and if I believed I received the message in error, to recheck the number and dial again.Good luck.
Go back into the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and file a complaint against them. I did it for another phone number. You don't need to know who it is. Just told them the number that kept calling, would not leave a message and wouldn't answer phone when called back. Calls stopped immediately.
don't even want to put my name on here cant trust anything anymore This no calls my house every day never leaves a message
Got this phone call today & they didn't leave a message so I called them back & got a busy signal tried again busy still I'm sure there trying to sell me something.
