I just received a call from this number and got no response when answering.

I keep getting calls from this number . please block it.

they want to steal your money i have "do not call" and they call all the time stay away from them. they want all of your money

How do I get these people to stop calling me on my cell phone?

It does no good to report them to the FCC. They do absolutely nothing.

My number's on the Do Not Call Registry. It doesn't stop them (I think they're using random number dialers) but it does give me to ability to file a complaint with the registry. Maybe someday they will figure out a way to stop this.

Another one of these, starting with the standard recorded message that this was my last chance etc. I pressed "1" and the person who answered actually sounded like they'd been trained - "Cardmember Services, to whom do I have the pleasure of speaking?" Wow, that's a first. I replied "Someone whose number is on the Do Not Call Registry. Please don't contact me again." Then I hung up. I have no idea if that will do any good, especially if they're using random # dialers, but it made me feel good - for once *I* got to hang up on them!And yes, I *did* file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

Here is what I do. I create a contact [Ignoreme1,2,3 etc]. Assign nuisance numbers to the contact. Send all calls from contact to voicemail. If your phone doesn't support that (my HTC did, my Samsung doesn't), then in a very quiet space record 1 second of silence, save as audio file [silence.wav] and assign as the ringtone.I also use application Call Control. It uses community blacklist and these numbers and others like it are on the list. The app blocks all their incoming calls, including [private number] and [unknown]. And it is free.

I also keep getting these calls and can't get them to STOP!!!!

Same as everyone else - robocalls that start with "Hi. This is Anne with Account Services . . ." from numbers that show as wireless calls from all over the country - originally 303-249-9700, now 617-212-1900, 385-212-1900, etc. Ever since I jumped through the hoops around a month ago and reached a live person to tell them to put me on the Do Not Call list (who hung up on me like everyone else) the frequency of the calls has increased,. This is really getting annoying and is harrassment in my book. I've filed complaints via the Do Not Call website every time but it obviously does nothing. I like the idea of putting in phone numbers that belong to the attorney general & FCC. Maybe a local TV or newspaper's investigative reporter?
