I got a call from this number stating they were from Microsoft IT. He couldn't even speak English. They are scammers. They hung up on me once I told them I was not giving them any information.

Scam

Just got a call from this number, they left a message stating my Social Security number had been involved in fraudulent activity and I was to either go to my local police department to surrender or call them back to get further detail on the matter. The man also said if I did not respond immediately they would have to take legal action. The number they gave me to call them back was completely different and the number I received the call from, was located in Cambridge, MA.

I asked them to stop calling me and I told him I was going to sue the company.

Calls several times a a day. Don't answer

Definitely both a scam and a spoofed number. I tried calling it and the # is not in service... So, it's faked, and clearly this caller is in need of reporting, blocking, and prosecuting for fraud. That is, if it were possible to find them. :-(

Offering federal money

Do NOT call them back. All that does is confirm the number works and then they have your name to perpetuate future scams!

Got a call from this number and (516)-2104104 saying they were from an American online pharmacy, when I called back it said number not in service. I started calling every other scam number that someone had posted on this thread to see if some one would pick up. I called (866)966-5997, this time it was a machine saying to answer some questions by clicking 1 (would you like to go to Florida etc) so I played along and pressed 1, it said it would transfer me to someone but just hung up, so I called and did it again and I went through to someone this time. They started talking about the cruise when I cut them off and said I've been getting calls from telemarketers and that their number showed up on a list so I called it and that I did not want any more calls. the person got so angry they started yelling! They said they'd take me off of I gave them my phone number and I said no, you should be able to see the number I'm calling from. They started yelling again that I was unreasonable and I said I wanted to talk to their supervisor and the supervisor took me off of the list, I think he said his name was Keith? He also said do not pick up any calls from random numbers in the next 24 hours because that's how long it takes to get the number updated out of the system and if I answered or called back it would reinstate my number. So call that number and jut push through until someone takes you off! (Side note: I did talk to an Indian man before on one of the other calls, but this time it was both two men with no (American) accents)

Oh my. ".....work him into a full fit of rage" to funny! I need to do the same thing when they decide to call again from this number!
