Calls all the time. Once I did talked to them and they told me they were from life alert. VERY RUDE!!!!!! Asked how they got the number and was told "none of your business". Called life alert - they claim they are not affiliated. Called the number back asked to never be contacted again, but they still call about twice a week. Probably a phishing scam.
This call was about repairing my motorized wheelchair, they had all my personal medicare information.
I get calls 2-3 times per week. Answered 1 time. They hung up. They never leave msg on machine.I know noone in Chula Vista Cal.
I started to contact the State Attorney Generals of the states that these scam calls show their area codes . Each State got back to me that they turn the numbers over to their investigation departments . Whether they really do or not I don't know but at least you hear from them , unlike the Do Not Call where you leave your name , address and e-mail and never find out what's going on .
Got a call from Jessie, a verifier, to find out whether we had an electric wheelchair from Medicare. He supposedly works at Safety Care, in San Diego county, in San Ysidro, CA 619-863-4646
THEY NEED TO LEAVE ME ALONE ...I JUST LOST MY HUSBAND, THEY HARRASS ME WITH THESE CALLS,

Here is the best way to help bring an end to these unwanted calls. You won't get instant results; however, it will bring the number to the attention of your phone carrier and certain government agencies. I talked to Comcast and an FBI agent about the best way to handle problem after I got three of these calls in one hour.1) Push *57 Call Trace (universal code for all carries) immediately after you hang up the phone. This forces your carrier to keep track of informatiom about the call such as where it originated, who is the actual owner, etc.2) Keep a log of when you get these calls. The log should contain the date, time, and any other information about the call.3) Log into www.ic3.com This is the official investigation website for telephone and internet fraud complaints. It is run by the US government and I was told it could it take a few months to get a response.4) You can be extremely rude and blast them with obnoxious sound effects. I have a sounds effects application that I downloaded from the Windows Store and I blast the person's ears out by putting my phone next to my speaker. I don't get too many repeat call backs after that stunt.
Received a call from (619) 863-4646, and they were offering free maintenance of my wheelchair approved by Medicare. They tried to ask for my Doctor's name and telephone #, I told them that with the Identity Theft going around that I would not be answering any personal questions as he called me. He offered to call me back??? wth??? After I told him he was not getting ANY personal information from me and since he had my name & telephone number, to send me something by mail. He was not happy with me & hung up!
They have your personal information? THAT is scary! I sure hope the appropriate government agencies are after these low-lifes. They called me today; I don't answer unrecognized calls. They won't get through again because I've blocked them. But it still scares me that they have Medicare numbers! That means they have social security numbers! I hope they get caught and thrown UNDER the jail.
