Recorded voice says, "Congratulations, you have been approved for a business loan..." I hung up and blocked the number.
The do not call list is underfunded by congress. They set up the website but never gave them enough funding to actually make a dent in the number of complaints received.I can't remember who it was, but the guy in charge of the federal office responsible for the DNCL was on C-Span a few months ago telling congress they never got the funding to fully implement it. They are currently trying set up a network of locations to be better able to respond to complaints. They started doing that with the money they already had though, not new money.It gave everybody a worm gooey feeling when it was announced. But it was never fully funded.
I normally just ignore numbers from out of state that I don't recognize but I decided to pick up on this one to my cell phone this morning. The guy starts this crap about my approved business loan. I interrupted and said "Why the hell do you think I own a business?" Guy hangs up before I can say anything else. Added the number to my call blocker app. Goodbye. [***]!
This number just called and I didn't answer. No message left. Putting yet another number on my block list. This is simply ridiculous! I add at least 2 numbers per week and am on the do not call registry. What a joke.

What did you expect?That being said, the individual who replied to your post was rude, unable to make their point without being crude (yes I'm rhyming unintentionally) and made it clear to the rest of the world that...well, maybe they'll understand this phrase best: "it takes one to know one".If the OP is a "cracker", then the person who wrote that reply must be a left-wing, Prius driving, wealth redistributing, socialist loving, whack job. Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.
