I don't mind when telemarketers call or robocall. My answering machine answers, they rarely (if ever) leave a message, and whether it's people calling or programming computers or smartphones to make the calls, it gives those people jobs. Telemarketing is not exactly a career to write home about, but it's a job. In today's economy, jobs are getting rare. And if any of them actually do waste their time leaving a message, I just delete it. I also block numbers of the calls that come in at annoying times, like early morning or late at night. My answering machine can block 3,000 numbers, and once blocked my phone doesn't even ring when they call. It has at about 120 numbers in it at the moment, but the manual says when the memory gets full, it deletes the oldest number when you add in a new one. It took two years to get 120, so I would imagine by the time it hits 3,000 the first number could be some defunct and long since forgotten telemarketing company.
I D 'Customer Servc' ,did not leave a message, checked on line, then blocked the number with my SENTRY.
Called my home and my cell which are both on the (in my opinion) useless DNC list!I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Any unknown number that calls better leave a VM if they want to contact me!!

Got a call from this number even though im on the Do Not Call Registry....i get several of these calls from various numbers i never answer i do report them but as many have said they just get new numbers quickly and easily. So gross to know what low life freakshows are out there. I dont have the patience to stay on the line with these criminals but if theres another way to end this bs id love to know.
Whenever a number calls my cell [business line] and doesn't leave a message I always check the number online.800 notes usually shows it is some telemarking scam. In this case it looks like one of the many biz loan scammers.My cell is on the DNC list and robo calls are illegal. If they are listed here they go on my blocked caller list.Scamming scum.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
