Hi,I am a recruiter with Rose. I can see that a lot of people are concerned about rose being legitimate or not.well it is! and I myself have placed a few persons. The last candidate I placed was also skeptical after I asked her about her ssn, but I didn't forced her to do so. so she called in and had a talk with one of our managers, me being in conference and was comfortable to provide the ssn(last 4). so I was able to get her submitted, we got an interview request and finally an offer from the client.I just want to clarify Rose International is a legitimate firm and we are here to help.Recruiter
I have worked for several staffing companies and as part of the interview process the recruiter said that in order to submit my name and resume to their big clients they needed the last four of SSN and date of birth.
I got three calls from this number today and finally picked up. It was a job recruiter, and the job was perfect, exactly what I am looking for, except that it is in Burbank, 30 miles from where I live in Buena Park, and I'd have to travel across LA at the busiest times (what aren't busy anymore?). If they would have offered more money, I would have sucked it up and made the drive. The man I spoke with was very nice, very polite and simply told me about the job. He did not ask for any personal information like SSN.
Got a call this morning, guy left voicemail. Could not understand "Andrew" at all and I'm usually good with accents. In any case, I am a stay at home mum and have not applied for a job in five years... why would I be getting calls if this company was legit?
I received similar email and voicemail stating I needed to call back asap. I reviewed the email poor grammar and spelling, conflicting phrases"virtual interviews and face to face interviews" The position listed was for a Virtual Recruiter. The main tip off it was a scam, the voicemail the gentleman of Indian decent did not even pronounce the company name correctly. I would think if he stated in the voicemail that he had been recruiting for this company over five years, in that time he should bs able to pronounce Aon Hewitt. I chose to go with my gut, and was glad I did seeing all the posts below.
Yep I just got one now too. My name is Rose saw your resume on line I have a job for you. Yadda yadda yadda. Yep block that crap. Can't believe after looking on here this has been going on since 2010.
I received an e-mail and multiple calls from Rahmat Khan from Rose Int. a few weeks back. The e-mail was recruiting for a Business Analyst position at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego. I became suspicious after Rahmat asked me to sign a consent confirming that I was available & not under contract with another company in order to get an interview. He advised that I had to sign it that night (9pm), inquired my current salary, and I believe asked my last 4 SSN. He also insisted that I be sure to copy his Manager. There was much urgency in regards to turning in the paperwork. I used to work for KP and knew this was not their style of recruiting. I looked up the job reference # on the National KP web site and found there was no such position posted. The e-mail format was suspicious, sentences highlighted in different colors, no Kaiser Logo, horrible spacing, and poor grammar. I sent the e-mail to Kaiser Corporate Compliance who advised they do not recruit in such manner. The e-mail used an actual address of one of the KP buildings here in SD. I continued to receive phone calls and urgent message from Rahmat to return the consent form. The calls finally stopped after my husband answered and told them I already had a job. Approximate 6 weeks later I received another e-mail and phone call. This time I get an email Subject: " As per voice mail this evening ::: Business Analyst (#45677, Rose Opening: 171501) needed in San Diego, CA ::: Send your updated resume ASAP!!! " "My name is Deep Narayan and I am Technical Recruiter with Rose International Inc, US top 5th US staffing Company.".........ect. Similar e-mail and phone message with urgency, but this time the Kaiser Permanente name is not used, only an address of one the building and the skills seeking now matches key words of job alerts I recently added to an employment opportunity web site. Again, I check KP web site and no position. I will be reporting to BBB. Thanks for the link !!
I got a phone call today, he said he got my resume from careerbuilder. I am not paranoic I used to work for credit card Company. I saw many frauds an scams So I have to protect my info and my future, I don't want headaches. The only person that can take my SS# and DOB after I passed the interview is the person from Human Resourse. That's it, not excuses.
Once an employee has ACCEPTED a legitimate job offer, you will enter their SSN into whatever relevant system the company uses to check employment and criminal history; MHA, Sterling, www.theworknumber.com... You do not run verifications on "possible" candidates. This would save time from the recruiters perspective, weeding out unqualified candidates, but it's just not how it's done.
