Received a call about a job opportunity. Headhunters that got my number off of a resume that I have posted *somewhere*. Sounds very legit, but I'm not looking so I didn't return call.
Constantly got calls from them till blocked, up until 10PM at night sometimes, very thick Indian accent, so I have no idea what his name was. Left me a VM that he had sent an email, it was a job description, then asked for full SSN, address, everything personal. Ummm no I don't even think so. I don't care if it was a job paying a million dollars an hour, I am not replying to your email with all that info. Seems to be a common thread as I read through these posts too.
This place is a scam. I received a call from a "recruiter" named Sammy and he asked for my birth date and my SSN before anything else. He sent me an email and said I had to respond to it within 15 minutes from the call. I took the time to resarch this place. He called back within 5 minutes wondering why i didn't respond yet. I told him i was no longer interested in the position, then he told me I HAD to continue with the application process and they were willing to pay me whatever I wanted. Seems legit...
Your correct, She offered me some good money to work for a big company. I got the call after 9pm which made me rather skeptical????
I got a call from this number and I was ask for the last four of my SS#. It sounds strange but I still give him. I hope that nothing happens to my credit ect.The email I got is as follows:Hi, My name is Pramod and I am a recruiter with Rose International. I found your profile in CareerBuilder.com and I have a Job Opportunity matching your profile. Please go through the details below and let me know if you would be interested and send me a copy of your updated resume. Thats when you tell them you dont HAVE to do anything, have a nice day (in a tone that really says F-you (or I would at least)) and hang up on the guy.
I got a missed call from here, a recruiting agency. I don't remember ever handing out my resume to these guys and I could not understand more than a couple words the guy was saying on the voice mail (due to his accent and VERY low speaking voice), so I will not be calling back. It didn't even seem like he would even care enough to try to get me, after hearing the heavy argh at the end of the message, either- further making me wonder if they are legit.
Got this in my email in addition to my voicemail:"Per my voicemail, my name is Vijay. I am a recruiter with Rose International. I found your profile on our database and thought that you might be interested in a position we currently have available with one of our clients in the WEST HEMPSTEAD NY 11552.I have included a description of the project below. Please take a few moments to review, and let me know if this is something you might be interested in exploring further. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact me at the number below Should you not be interested in this particular position, we do have many other opportunities available that I would be happy to review with you. I look forward to hearing from you, and working with you in the future. Thank you very much and have a great day"Now, as far as I know, BofA does not use outside recruiting agencies- NEVER seen it once in 5 years- they do it through their own website and very rarely through Monster or CareerBuilder; I think I may have seen it happen ONCE or TWICE. This is very suspicious. Now, why the office all the way out in Missouri is calling me instead of one much closer to the job site is also very suspicious as well, seeing as how every staffing company I ever used advertises for jobs in a 10-20 mile radius of that specific office.
