I have been getting calls and emails from Stanley Jha from Rose International and he says he has a job for a senior buyer and that you are a perfect fit and we need you to call back because they want to submit my resume. He will call and if you don't answer he will call two, three, four times and not leave a message. Then if you make and notion that you have viwed an email from them they start calling again. They are a royal pain in the A$$. I hope they are happy being a pain to everyone making them think they are actually going to get them an interview and nothing ever happens!!!!!!!!! Here is his email....look out for them!!!!!!Hi , It was nice speaking with you today. As discussed please review the job description and send me your confirmation along with a copy of your resume. SO i refuse to gave him the SSN so he ask me if i can talk to his manager. i said no thanks. After 10 min he called me again that i can verify the information and i said i don't feel confortable. The guy have indian acent and he was not confortable while he was taking.
I keep getting calls from this number with unintelligible voice mails left. I REFUSE to call back.
Yes, I would not trust Rose Internationl Staffing. I believe it to be a scam also. They contacted me for a Bank of America position in Houston. They asked for my social security number up front. This is a RED Flag. The two agents I spoke to from Rose International sounded Nigerian and barely spoke English. This seems odd for a recruiter in the US to barely speak English and there is no need for a social security number up front.
It's a staffing agency, return the call and you might just end up with a job. That is how they got your number you went to them looking for work. Gesh
I got a call today about a job with PG&E as a project manager. He said he was going to email me the job details with a consent letter for me to sign and send back. I told him I would happily send back any consent letter he needed once I verified all the details of the position he was discussing. So far, no email with details OR consent letter. Hmmm, makes me wonder if I should just pull my resume from Monster and Dice.
Bank of America does require a SSN before you can be submitted on contract positions. I work for a staffing company and they are one of our clients
They can ask for the last four of your social but not the full social. Please do not provide your full social to anyone over the phone, unless it is for verification purposes for current accounts.
