I woke up this morning and saw that I had a text. So I checked it out and I got this... Hey, I got your number from a friend. If you want to come see if you recognize me at lonewolf624.love-o-pod.org. Hope to see you soon!I was pissed that someone would give out my number like that without permission! So I immediately went straight for the computer. I tried the lonewolf.love-o-pod.org but couldnt find anything. Then I just typed in lonewolf624 and got this.I just want to know how the hell this [***] got my number!I'm going through Rogers with my phone and want to know how this guy has easy access to random phone numbers!? And what the hell does he want? Is this just advertising for these sites?

I'm on telus also. Got same type of message. Am wondering if could be related to facebook application : See who is looking at your profile the most as this application is requesting phone#... Feel kind of stupid for doing this in the 1st place!!!

Got the same message this afternoon. Site was date-trip.net. I'm through telus as well. it's just spam. Someone is random dialing from a computer. If you reply, they know they've got a live one. I'd suggest not replying.

I got 2 messages..one at 3a.m saying I got your no.from a friend..check me out on only dating.net so went there only to see Friends Jungle.He said his user name is Mailover7.This creep needs to get caught.By the way I'm with Fido.

Got the same thing today... but this one from mailover7I called Telus immediately and they said they are aware of the issue and are going to figure out who's sending it and how to stop it. If you are on Telus, you are not being charged for these messages. Do not go to the website they advertise, and do not respond.
