I got the same message today too, & I'm on telus. I have NEVER put my cell phone # on anything. Not on facebook, not on websites, nothing. So I find it very strange to get these texts. The person sent me 2 texts. I will be phoning telus in the morning.
I, too, recieved a text message on May 19th, 2008 at 4:10pm from BDBOADERGAL862 who states she got my number from a freind of hers. She tells you to see who she is by entering matchpit.com. The message came from a 5000 number. Obviously this is a fluke, but I am upset that my number is broadcasted out there for everyone to see. Does anyone know what this is all about? What can be done?

I'm based out of Montreal and I got a text with the IDENTICAL message at 3:42pm today from unknown sender from babygurl299.datepit.net to check out the datepit.net website.. So now we're getting spam on our cells.. u gotta be sh*ttin me! I'm calling Telus first thing. Maybe I should call CTV news and get them on Telus' *ss! That would be interesting wouldn't it??

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
