"number from a friend... name is sw3t_bunw8t...." had no caller ID. With telus as well. maybe contact them to see whats going on

I got a text message from 5000 saying "hey, I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you can't guess who I am! My username's xavelynx, if you wanna come see if you recongnize me online, at xavelynx.matchpit.com Well, hope to see you soon!" just kind of annoying, but i thought I should take the time to tell others.......

I go the same message, got your number from a friend. I'm with Telus too. Anybody have any idea on how to block this spam on your phone?

I just got a similar message and I was confused as hell. Something like " i got your number from a friend and I bet you don't know who i am some come to allstardresser.matchsauna.org" i just deleted it. My husband got the same thing about a month ago.

someone txted me saying 'holla, my friend said you're nice, i'm shy and meet me on datehop.org which was redirected to friendjungle.

got 2 text msgs from 5000. same sh!! t-mobile customer.
