Recieved call-said "hello" a few times, waited a few seconds,asked "who's calling", person hung up. Shortly after that, my son,same address, different phone#, recieved call from same #. Call was unanswered by him. We live in Montreal QC, Canada.Annoying and disconcerting.

You have to feel REALLY sorry for people resorting to trying to make a buck with their scams by peddling through voice messages.Very very sad.Anyway, got auto dialer voice message in Ontario Canada. Initially I jumped up, because auto dialers with taped messages are illegal in Canada. But this one was from the US, so I can't tell the [***] off.Again, sad sad sorry little folks. O well. Back to my real worthy job that I can feel good about.

Received a call from this number, no one answered when I picked up.

I got a text message on my cell from a number I don't know saying this word for word."Know the facts: Call 641-715-3900 ext. 83682 Then please forward this 2 your phonebook they need 2 know. You will lose your freedoms this November 4th if you don't know!!!!"I mean wtf seriously? They sound real official when they don't break up the sentences and use the number two instead of the word. Has this happened to anyone else?

I just got exactly the same message that you did, Jasper, about a half hour ago. I called them with the intention of finding out how they got my number and insisting they take me off their list. After putting in the extension, I got transferred. Some radical right-wing station was playing, as though that was their hold music. The announcer made a lot of false statements about ACORN and Obama. After 3.5 mintues, it went silent and no live person every came on the line.I am in area code 614, Columbus, Ohio, heart of swing state country. This is some kind of dirty tricks campaign and it's costing me money because I have to pay for text messages. I am going to notify the Ohio Secretary of State's office.Where do you live?

Got 3 call hanging up when answering in less than 24h in Montreal, Qc ; at least one from then (dialed *69 to track the number). What do they want???
